For straight well drawn combs good quality foundation is required. We recommend the diagonal wired version. Please note that cold weather makes wax foundation white and brittle. To make pliable again store at room temperature.

For Brood Frames and Supers that will be used with an extractor - wired frames are used to give greater strength.

For Cut Comb/Honey Comb use thin unwired foundation.
